What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy involves assessment, restoration, improvement or maintenance of optimal function to enable people to participate fully in the activities of their everyday life, be it work, leisure or self-care.

What is Myofascial Occupational Therapy?

Myofascial Occupational Therapy utilises a number of different ‘hands on’ neuromuscular and trigger point release techniques to address the problems that arise when the muscular system, fascia and surrounding soft tissue are impaired. The associated pain is often described as a deep ache, tightness, or tenderness in a specific area that can vary in intensity and radiate to other areas.

‘Hands on’ is for people with active symptoms or for those seeking preventative care.
